- Betty Ong phones the ticket reservations desk of American Airlines to report a hijacking, breaching all American Airlines emergency protocol. WHY? would she do this?
- She gets her flight number wrong initially calling the plane she is on flight 12.
- She forgets which seat she is supposed to be sitting in.
- Most researchers feel she is taking part in a training exercise during this call and the scenario is a training program.
